It is poisonous! It has an anesthetic effect. Inhalation of it causes upper respiratory tract irritation, nausea, dizziness, headache, and central nervous system depression. The maximum allowable concentration in air is 200 × 10-6.
It is stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from kindling and heat sources. Protect from direct sunlight. The package shall be sealed and shall not be in contact with air. It shall be stored separately from oxidants, acids and alkalis.
