1. According to organic and inorganic, it is divided into inorganic acids and organic acids
Organic acids are organic compounds that are acidic. The most common organic acids are carboxylic acids, which derive their acidity from the carboxylic group (-COOH). Sulfonic acid (-SO₃H) is also an organic acid. Organic acids can react with alcohols to form esters.
2. According to whether it contains oxygen, it is divided into oxygen-containing acid and anaerobic acid
Oxygen-containing acids (e.g. H₂SO₄, H₂CO₃, etc.) Anoxic acids (e.g. HCl, HF, etc.)
3. According to the amount of H+ that can be ionized from the acid molecule
It can be classified as monic acid (HCl), diprimary acid (H₂SO₄), and ternary acid (H₃PO₄).
4. According to the strength of the acid, the acid is divided into strong acid, medium strong acid, weak acid (whether it can fully ionize).
Strong acid (HCl, etc.) Medium strong acid (H ₃PO₄, etc.) Weak acid (H ₂CO₃, etc.)
5. According to whether the central atom obtains electrons, it is divided into strong oxidizing acids and non-strong oxidizing acids
Strong oxidizing acid (HNO₃ etc.)
